  • Innate behaviour – Innate behavior is a natural, instinctive behavior that animals perform without learning. It’s also known as instinct, inborn, or inherent behaviour. Example can be Sucking on a mother’s nipple. 
  • Learned behaviour – Acquired through practice or experience. Example can be Coalition in Cheetahs.
  • Species-specific behaviour – that are shared by almost all members of a species. These behaviours can be Innate or Learned. Example can be Migration.
  • Generalist behaviour – when they can adapt to a variety of environments and use a variety of resources. Example can be Digging & Climbing.
